Love finds the way to make US work

The Feelings Magic Mushrooms Bring Can Make This Work

Me personally, I dont need any psychedelics to see the world differently because seeing the world differently is my default setting. I'd say the same for you too. We don't need anything for our mind. The reason I like mushrooms is because it's all about feeling.

It's about an uncontrollable love for humanity that starts in your belly which you can't explain but you know it's good for you, so you open yourself up to it and then it takes over your body, and then your mind, and you begin to see how the world could be transformed through love, and how you as an individual might be able to help bring about such a harmonious state. It's just that feeling which I'm keen for you to know.

The feelings and the knowledge of what you perceived stay with you! There is no crash like one gets with synthetics.

With anything so powerful, respect is needed in its administration. People who take too much and walk round all day totally loved up, expecting everyone they come into contact with to be on the same vibe as them are disrespecting nature, and themselves.

The feelings you get when taking mushrooms, are amplified versions of feelings that already exist within you. So if you are feeling happy, you will feel beyond happy. If you are feeling hopeful and optimistic - likewise. If you are feeling creative and inspired - watch out world!!!😂😂

Opening The Past

in so many moments

i see myself

with a want to explore

through writing

at some point I will...

now that i finally know

myself

i'd write

of the nice times we shared

poignant and sweet

in the brief while spent

at Claremont

as and when...

desires to convert

my heart into words

wax and wane

like the FTSE

but just as important

is seeking

the looking within

without conditions

for acceptance

of aspects and times

of pain caused and felt

seen and unseen

my want to go honing

memories, recollections

evoke quivers of longing

rippling shame

reliving the visceral

moments destabilized

emotions red fevered

with jealousy

pangs

the need to possess

to feel peace inside

inadequate, inferior

synthetic intimacy

impulsive projections

confidence feigned

before shallow conviction

suppresses the shaming

resonant feelings

of nakedness

up from the deep

uncertainties rise

when fears hide my absence

of qualities i wished

were inside

to replace this mask

of myself disguising

a maturity straining

but then feelings

effervescence and love

buoyant and light and easy

skins gently brush

in communion

in each readjustment

dispersing its charge

traversing the void

anticipations leap

sooner than we

to embrace.

How Much Do You Love Me

A scientist finds out much energy is in the connection that joins two atoms by breaking the bonds that hold them together.

The energy released no longer belongs to them. It is transferred into the surrounding space and felt by their neighbours.

Therefore the amount of love I have for you is equal to the amount of love lost when the bonds that connect us are severed forever.

So I won't be able to say how much that is unless it happens, because I just don't know. But my guess is, a lot.

Love

Love is a container which holds space for those within to connect without restraint

Intimidating Others Is A Privilege I Enjoy Making The Most Of

One of the best things about being big and black in an almost entirely white village I'm finding is the ability to intimidate strangers without having to try. It really is a blessed privilege!
It's been so nice to have people quaking in abject fear when I've walked into a beer garden and taken a pew with my pint at the picnic bench next to them, and then bathed myself in the waves of worrisome gazes coming in from all angles, as they scope me out, attempting to divine my ulterior motive for choosing that particular bench to plonk my arse upon.
"But why that table in particular? Why not the one furthest away from us?? We're onto you sunshine... We'll be monitoring every sip you take of the delicious local IPA your drinking far too slowly to be a benign presence. Any other person who meant us no harm would have been half way through that pint by now. Keep an eye on him Karen, I'm just going for a piss..."
I love feeling the tension build and build between me and them, to the point where this non-existent war of attrition raging in their minds is just one more non-sip of my drink away from becoming an all-out wild west saloon brawl, minus the honky-tonk pianist providing our farcical soundtrack.
Then all of a sudden something will happen; an unintended connecting of our worlds will occur. The couple's dog, who had up until then been lying obediently at their feet will suddenly get up to stretch its legs, and without excusing itself, stroll casually across the hard border between us and into my domain, and I'll start petting it without thinking, stroking it like it was my own dog, telling it how lovely it is.
When people who think they should fear you see you being kind and gentle to something or someone they really care for then you immediately go from public enemy number one to being their newly adopted son in the blink of an eye. It's great! Shortly after I'd finished stroking their dog, during which I'd looked across at the couple to make friendly eye contact, I was being bombarded with unlimited pork scratchings and original flavour scampi fries! Win!!!
People feel better when they realise their fears were just unnecessary figments of their imagination, preventing them from being able to get along with everyone, and so it's a privilege for me to be someone's fear which is able to make itself disappear.

Being in Love

Traditionally, when we say "I am in love with you", we are actually saying that we are in love with ourselves, because being in love with someone involves the other person being present in the same space as we are - at the same time. If they are not, then it simply isn't true that you're in love with them. Love is a physical state. Not a state that is physiological in origin, like a condition, a temperament or an emotion; but an environment which exerts a physical influence upon anyone and anything within it.

Being in love with someone is dependent upon the two of you inhabiting the same space and same time. If the object of our desire is not present in the same space and time as us then we are merely projecting those desires into the ether, into an empty void where only we alone reside with a mirage of our object of affections. If we are ever able to see another's spirit when in love, then that in itself is confirmation that you truly are - for love is the environment which makes it possible for us to do so.

Love is the shared space and time in which essences are able to meet and speak to each other.

The Problem of Intention

Whenever I have the intention to do something grand or idealistic, I fail big time, or at least, am left deeply unsatisfied with what transpires as the result was never my intention.
I'm very interested in seeing new systems emerge that help us all work in harmony together though. One experience that keeps coming back to me was when I was at a private festival involving the coming together of various like-minded people. I was struck by the levels of generosity there. Everyone was just so giving! And perhaps because the location we were in was so beautiful, we all felt momentarily separated from the cruelties of the real world, living in a vision of a collective future we wished to be real, a kind of temporary utopia that everyone knew would soon be over because festivals unfortunately don't tend to last forever!
For the next few weeks after returning to the life and person I was before the festival, I found it surprisingly easy and natural to be totally giving to my friends, verging on it feeling quite necessary to be so whenever an opportunity arose. If a friend said they were hungry and I happened to be eating at the time, without thought I found myself offering them my sandwich, telling them they could help themselves. Of course, they would never eat the entire thing, but I feel like it was the gesture that ended up nourishing them more than the food did.
Surprisingly, in group situations where other friends and onlookers witnessed this, I would find myself being offered or given things more often than was the norm for me. And they in turn gave among themselves more than I'd seen before. The atmosphere became one where everyone wanted to give to each other because seeing genuine appreciation and other people being made happier made them happy too! It was nuts!
I'm not one for taking chemicals and then jumping into a hot tub with friends all loved up, so it was a bit intense for me to feel that level of unconditional love just spring up out of nowhere, but I did find that as each day passed, what was an overwhelming feeling of resonance with humanity gradually became normalised, to the point where it no longer disrupted the coordinates of my lived experience and became a part of who I was.
This was years ago though. A fleeting period in my life, a glimpse of the kind of utopia I didn't think was possible. I'm back to 'normal' now! A right selfish bastard who always puts themselves first! Hahaha!!! But I do often find myself longing for the belief that I had in the past. A belief that it is actually possible after all to help sustain and instill in others a love for living through giving

My cats showed me how we are better off together than apart

You can learn loads from cats. Humility, patience, handling disappointment with grace, being the bigger cat, compassion, love, curiosity as well as sloth, greed, selfishness and just being a bit of a knobhead.
After getting two of my cats that were resting in separate spaces, into the same box, it was a nice surprise waking up to find they had been sharing the knowledge of this new co-existence with the third cat, who wisely had signed himself up. There was about 2 inches of space left, but that made the box even more cosy and each cat could be the next cat's pillow.
When they were sleeping in different rooms, two of them became shabbier because they find cleaning themselves a bit boring. The other one loves to clean things in general and so now that they've been spending more time together their coats have started to shine.
