The Culture Of Ignorance

I'm noticing more and more recently a very disturbing trend taking place on social media. It comes across to me as a culture of ignorance which even really smart people are helping to propagate.

Educated people are feigning ignorance in a bid to lull others into perceiving them as being ignorant, and in the process inadvertently create an environment for us all which is tantamount to a field of landmines. An arena of battle where the players seem to be championing the merits of ignorance over knowledge and intelligence.

It's as if they wish to set traps for others to fall into.Traps for naive others who dare to accept their idiotic assertions at face value and so object or attack them based upon what they can see and read. It's only then do these clever individuals unleash their true intellect and before reveling in the mockery of those who foolishly chose to believe that they were being truthful, all in order to gain some kind of bizarre sense of superiority which in the bigger picture means jack shit!
