We don't seem to possess intelligence. Because 'intelligence' is what has inexorably led to the 'smartest' amongst us to feel the calling from the beyond, the overwhelming compulsion to follow to the very end, the narrative constructed from blindly trusting in the trail the data we generated led us. Connecting the dots, we envisaged one day arriving in the promised land, regardless of whether the outline we were sketching out was that of our own apparent suicide. And yet here we are, in the past are know of this possibility. And yet the momentum of our fate carries us onward, without faltering, as we cheerily remind themselves that they are becoming more human along the way.
